Promoting human rights in different aspects of life have been an integral part of the Council from its very creation in 2006 The Council does not only deals with strengthening the human rights but also it tries to make sure that all the people know and have the ability to use their rights effectively. Additionally, ensuring that these rights will be implemented equally for all people in the world is one of the main objectives of the Council. In order to achieve these targets, UNHRC makes recommendations to the General Assembly of the United Nations to further the developments in the field of human rights and ensure their implementation on an international scale.
